LRP finds Partnership with AACIS

Legislative Rights for Parrots supports animal welfare and also pet bird ownership.  Our care for birds is complex and has many practices in place.  Nonetheless, there are hoarders and other facilities that provide below a minimum standard of care. What does minim care look like?  Visit our bills page here.  We found an organization that provides training on bird care, what to look for when there is parrot abuse, hoarding and neglect.  Not only do they provide services for birds but other animals as well.  Many people fear their birds being taken.  That is not our focus.  Our focus as LRP is to stop abuse and neglect.
